British Design from the 50s to 70s

Just got back from London… Had the “London calling” moment, as they say… Very happy to have had the time to visit the British Design 1948-2012 exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum. Very well done!

The exhibition presents the British art & design of the various forms: fashion, print, digital, product, etc. I felt as if I was having a pleasant walk-through the British culture.

Design has always fascinated me because of its power to portray the personalities / identities of a particular culture – be it that of a country, an organization or an individual creator – the artist or designer himself… Most often they are so interlinked, aren’t they?
